Updates to the Alto IRA and CryptoIRA Dashboards


Alto was created with the idea that investing in alternative assets shouldn’t be so difficult that only the most well-connected are able to include them in their individual retirement accounts (IRAs).
It’s for this same reason that we’re always looking for new ways to improve our investment products, Alto IRA and CryptoIRA.
Here’s what we did and why it matters for you.
It’s nice to be able to log in to your retirement investment account and at a quick glance be able to see how your investments are allocated.
To make this easier, we added a pie chart to display your portfolio composition, along with more detailed information about the various investments in your portfolio, including:

If you buy and sell crypto regularly, you want to be able to do so on the go, which is why we’ve put a lot of time and effort into improved mobile responsiveness.
While users have always been able to access their CryptoIRA dashboard on a phone or tablet, not all users were able to execute a sale or purchase of crypto. We’ve since addressed this issue, so you can buy, sell, and trade crypto on the go using your CryptoIRA.
As a reminder, we strongly recommend using multi-factor authentication whenever available. (Authy and Google Authenticator are two easy-to-use authenticators you can download.)
