Eric Satz

Founder and CEO

Prior to his role as founder and CEO of Alto, Eric worked in investment banking at DLJ/Credit Suisse and co-founded several companies, including: Currenex, an FX trading solution sold to State Street for more than $550M; Plumgood Food, and; Tennessee Community Ventures, a VC firm. He served on the Board of Tennessee Valley Authority from August 2015 to January 2019. After years in New York City and San Francisco, Eric and family moved to his wife’s hometown of Nashville to raise their kids. Nowadays, his pastimes include skiing, soccer, yoga, and all too often hoping this will finally be the year for the ‘Canes and Dolphins.

Amin Dabit

Chief Operating Officer

Amin is focused on driving priorities, measuring outcomes, and delivering real results. He brings nearly two decades of experience in the financial services and wealth management industries, and has led digital, people, and process improvements for startup and Fortune 100 companies. Most recently, he helped Personal Capital scale to unicorn status, leading to its acquisition by Empower Retirement. In his spare time, Amin enjoys spending time in the Rocky Mountains with his wife and two children. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder.

Bradford Winfrey

Chief Technology Officer

Bradford brings more than 20 years of engineering experience to his role as CTO at Alto—with expertise across e-commerce, computational genomics, and healthcare. He has helped a number of companies elevate their platforms for growth and exit preparation, including: Home Healthcare Laboratories of America (acquired by LabCorp), Change Healthcare (acquired by Emdeon), and Emma (acquired by Campaign Monitor).

Tara Fung

Chief Revenue Officer

Tara is an expert at building and scaling companies by focusing on growth strategies—while also prioritizing financial discipline. In her early career, Tara managed global sales strategy and business development for German automotive giant, Daimler AG. She then went on to lead enterprise sales and strategic partnership as Chief Commercial Officer of CommonBond, a Series D FinTech firm. Under her leadership, CommonBond raised $130M in equity funding and more than $3B in debt financing to support consumer lending and SaaS technology. Tara is a graduate of Harvard Business School and the University of South Carolina.

Gary Hirsch

EVP, General Counsel + Secretary

Gary brings 30 years of experience in advising fast-growing technology companies from inception to exit. For nine years, before joining Alto in his current role, Gary was the founder and principal attorney of his own legal practice, serving more than 150 privately-funded ventures in FinTech, insuretech, pharma tech, and other verticals. Prior to that, Gary was chief legal officer of two pioneering platform providers: Currenex, which introduced hedge funds to online FX trading, and IntraLinks, which Gary helped lead from 2004 through its IPO in 2010. Gary began his legal career at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Marsh & McLennan Companies. He’s a graduate of NYU Law and Dartmouth College.

Katrina Welty

Chief Product Officer

Katrina excels at helping early-stage companies build and scale their products. She began her career as the second employee at then-startup Change Healthcare, where she was responsible for product marketing and integrations, scaling the business to more than 80 people before its exit in 2014, when it was acquired by Emdeon. She then joined Artist Growth, an early-stage music business management platform, as their vice president of product, where she gained experience in direct-to-consumer product distribution and development. She led strategy to expand their technology platform into enterprise sales, working with Sony Music Group, Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group, and others and released their first mobile app. Katrina is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.

Jamie Bailey

Executive Vice President, Strategy

Jamie specializes in leading cross-functional teams in leading edge and bleeding edge technology development efforts ranging from silicon to SaaS. Prior to joining Alto, he was the Founder and CEO of Initial State, a SaaS data platform that was acquired by Tektronix (NYSE:FTV) in 2018. His work has been featured in magazines such as Popular Science, MAKE:, and MagPi, as well as tech media websites such as LifeHacker, Hackaday, and Network World. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, he has extensive experience in intellectual property and holds 17 issued patents.
