Got questions?
Well, we've got answers.

What is the Alto Marketplace?

Alto Marketplace is our latest product made possible by our new Broker-Dealer subsidiary, Alto Securities. Alto Marketplace enables new and existing customers to discover and invest in high quality alternative asset offerings curated by the Alto Securities team. Offerings will range across a variety of different asset classes including, but not limited to, private equity, venture capital, real estate, fine wine, art and more.

What’s the difference between Alto IRA and Alto Marketplace?

An Alto IRA allows investors to purchase private securities with retirement funds.

Alto Marketplace allows investors to discover and invest in high quality investment opportunities curated by the Alto Securities team.

Who is Alto Securities and how are they regulated?

Alto Securities is Alto’s new broker dealer subsidiary that allows us to market private securities to retail investors.

Alto Securities is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a broker-dealer and is a member of FINRA and SIPC. For information on Alto Securities, please refer to our Form CRS.

Do I need to be accredited to participate in the Marketplace?

Currently, yes, as all offerings available on our Marketplace at the moment are limited to accredited investors (AIs) only. The Alto Securities team is working towards curating high quality offerings that are open to non-accredited investors as well.

What will the fees be for Marketplace deals?
  • Investment fees are specific to each individual deal. Details can be found in the offering documents located on the offering’s landing page inside of the Marketplace. It is the responsibility of the investor to review each investment’s offering documents carefully.
  • Participation in the Marketplace’s private deals through your Alto IRA will require a Starter Plan. Separate terms and fees apply when using an Alto IRA to invest. See IRA legal terms and pricing. Pricing and terms subject to change.
    • Note: Investors who currently have a Pro Plan as required for an existing investment are eligible to invest in Marketplace offerings. Their Pro Plan will not be downgraded to the Starter Plan.
